Isaiah 40:31(NIV)31 but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
This verse has been on my mind for probably 3 weeks. It's a verse a lot of runners use. But why?? Any time I heard this verse my mind would think, Hey cool eagles, I like eagles they remind me of my dad, who passed away when I was in high school. Oh how I remember him drawing eagles for me. Wish I could draw. 🙂 Seriously the verse didn't have meaning to me. Although I believe it's important to read the WHOLE chapter than just taking one verse out. I haven't been doing a good job. I still want to feed my spirit and mind with truth so I have been picking verses out to think about.
So, did I have more meaning in this verse? Yes! Yes! I do. The first part to me is blunt and to the point. Hope in the Lord will renew my strength. But then it says soar on wings like eagles, will run and not grow weary, walk and not be faint. To be stronger!!! Endurance. I watch all of you in your sessions. I see some of y'all break through. It's like this wall that continues to hold us back. This fear. If we let it go. Have hope in the Lord. Let it go. We will SOAR!!!!! BREAKTHROUGH!!!!!! When we break through and let go of fear we finally take off and not get weary. WHY? Cause we are prepared for this new adventure. See my friends, your on your way to transformation of becoming a healthier person. So walk and do not be faint.
Stay focused on your goals and don't be distracted by your obstacles that get in our way. It is so important to be healthy and fit, physically, mentally and spiritually. They all go together. They are all important. Each one of y'all are an inspiration to me, and I know you are inspiration to many around you. Continue to be a better version of yourself!
